The Blue Whale, another cetacean belonging to the baleen whale family, is considered to be the largest animal that ever lived - and lives. A full-grown blue whale may obtain a length of more than 98 feet and with an estimated lifespan of around 90 years. A blue whale weighs approximately 150 tons, with a mouth large enough to hold up to 90 tonnes of water and food. This sea creature is predominantly blue-grey in colour with light grey or white in the lower surface.
