The safety of our customers is of utmost importance to us. It has come to our attention that the magnets contained within the Magnetic Chess Game may fall under the category of permanent ban on small high-powered magnets. We are requesting all customers who purchased one of these games from Plato's to be return it immediately for a full refund.

Manufacturer Item Number: 8888 (shown on the reverse side of the packaging)
Reason the product is recalled
These products don’t comply with the permanent ban on small high-powered magnets.
The hazards to consumers
Risk of serious internal injuries or death if a child swallows more than one high-powered magnet as they stick together in the child’s intestine or other digestive tissue.
Risk of serious injury or death from choking.
What consumers should do
1. Stop using the chess game immediately and keep out of reach of children
2. Return the chess game to Plato's for a full refund.
